Outreach Services are confidential support services for abused women as well as possible victims of abuse who may not use the services of the shelter, but still need some education and safety planning surrounding issues of domestic violence. Outreach coordinators provide one on one support, group support, referral services, safety assessment and planning, advocacy, accompaniment to court and other meetings, information and public education.
This service is available in Queen’s County, East Prince, West Prince Regions and Eastern PEI.

- information about other services available in the community
- advocacy/accompaniment (when appropriate) with agencies and organizations
- assistance in arranging emergency shelter for women and their children
- provide support groups
Other responsibilities include educating the community regarding the dynamics of violence in families, as well as Second Stage Housing.
