PEI Family Violence Prevention Services received a donation of $680 from Maureen MacIsaac. This donation was the proceeds from a donations jar put out for  visitors, boaters, friend and family members that came by for their annual party on Canada Day. National Victims of Crime Awareness Week

PEI FVPS received a grant of $6,575 from the Department of Justice as part of a campaign for National Vicitims of Crime Awareness week.     Here is a summary of the presentations put on by Michelle Buttery and Daneen MacDonald. Nancy Wallace, centre, an employee of Scotiabank in O'Leary and a member of the board of directors of the PEI Family Violence Prevention  Services Inc., presented two cheques totalling $4,500 for Anderson House and Sister Properties Capital Champaign. As part of the City of Summerside Community Grant support to local non-profit organizations, East Prince Family Violence Prevention Services received $5,000. The funds will be utilized to provide the year-round front-line programs and services, along with public education to schools, groups and organizations in the area served.
